UTA's Department of Engineering is one of the fastest-growing in the College of Engineering, with 19 full-time faculty members and almost 500 students.

About the Program

The Department of Civil Engineering is the only Civil Engineering program at a public university in the DFW region, offering ample employment opportunities for Civil Engineering graduates.  The Department is part of the UT Arlington's College of Engineering, one of the largest engineering colleges in Texas.

The University, located on a modern 388-acre campus, is one of the largest campuses in The University of Texas System with an enrollment of over 32,000. The Department provides a stimulating study and research atmosphere for both students and faculty. The Engineering facilities provide state of the art laboratories, class rooms and computing facilities for our students.
