Unmanned Vehicle Systems (UVS) Certificate
About the Program
In the Fall of 2014 UTA began offering an interdisciplinary program in unmanned vehicle system (UVS) technologies and applications. Programs participating in the certificate include:
- Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
- Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Science Engineering
The UVS Program focus areas address aerial/aviation, ground-based, amphibious and marine systems.
A UVS certificate is earned by completing 15 hours of course work - 6 hours common across all programs with 9 hours chosen from a portfolio of classes identified in each program dependent on focus area.
